Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Summary: Soccer-Games.io collects a limited amount of data to run the site, understand how it is used and show advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money; advertising partners may receive data that some US state laws treat as “sharing”, and you can opt out (Section 10). This policy applies to all visitors, including in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States.
1. Who We Are
Soccer-Games.io (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a website available at https://soccer-games.io. It is operated by Soccer-Games.io, the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Privacy contact: [email protected].
Our first-party analytics and our game services (player accounts, leaderboards and game saves) run on infrastructure operated for us by a technology service provider, which processes the data only on our behalf and on our instructions (as a processor / service provider).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
- When you email us or use our contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- When you post a comment: the display name you choose, your comment and the time it was posted. Comments are public — do not include personal details in them.
- When you choose to sign in to a game with Google, Discord or Apple: your account identifier with that provider and, if the provider shares them, your display name and country. We do not ask for your real name, email address or phone number for games.
- When you play games that have leaderboards or cloud saves: your display name, scores and game progress.
You do not need an account to use Soccer-Games.io.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information: browser type, operating system, device type, screen size and language.
- Usage information: pages you visit, time spent, the page you came from (referrer), campaign parameters in the link (for example
utm_source,gclid) and interactions such as clicks and in-game events. - Approximate location (country) derived from your IP address.
- Random identifiers stored in cookies and similar storage on your device (Section 5).
- Whether an ad blocker is active on your browser (Section 2.3).
- Advertising information: which ads were shown and whether you interacted with them.
2.3 Analytics tools we use
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — site statistics. Google receives your IP address with each request to derive approximate location; Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland Google Analytics is only loaded after you consent. How Google uses data from sites that use its services.
- Soccer-Games.io Analytics (our own first-party analytics, served from
events.soccer-games.io) — records page views, time on page, traffic source, device information and the events listed above together with a random browser identifier. The collector derives your country from your IP address and classifies automated traffic from the browser user agent; it does not store your IP address or user agent. This data is used only to understand and improve the site and our games; it is never used for advertising, never shared with advertising partners and never sold. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it only runs after you consent. - Game services (used by our own games) — records game sessions, in-game events and play time with a random player identifier. To count unique players and prevent abuse it stores a one-way hash of your IP address made with a key that changes every day (keys are deleted after 32 days); the IP address itself is not stored. Game data is used only to run and improve our games and is never used for advertising.
- Ad blocker detection — our analytics script checks whether your browser blocks requests to Google advertising domains (for example
googlesyndication.com,doubleclick.net). These requests do not contain our identifiers or event data, but your browser sends its usual technical information (such as IP address) to Google. The result is not used to select ads. It only runs when analytics is allowed (after your consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) and never when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, sensitive information (such as health, financial or government identification data) through the site.
3. How We Use Information and Our Legal Bases
For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR / Swiss FADP are shown for each purpose.
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|

| Keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse | IP address (not stored by our analytics), device data | Legitimate interests |
| Measure and improve the site and games | Usage data, analytics identifiers, approximate location | Consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland); legitimate interests elsewhere |
| Player accounts, leaderboards and game saves you choose to use | Provider account identifier, display name, scores, game progress | Performance of a contract (providing the feature you requested) |
| Show non-personalised ads (based on the page, not on you) | Device data, approximate location | Legitimate interests; consent where cookies are used and the law requires it |
| Show personalised ads and measure them | Advertising identifiers, cookie data, ad interactions | Consent |
| Answer your messages and requests | Name, email, message | Legitimate interests |
| Publish and moderate comments | Display name, comment | Legitimate interests |
| Comply with the law and enforce our terms | As needed | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object at any time (Section 10). Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing that happened before.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Advertising
Soccer-Games.io is free to use and is funded by advertising. Ads are delivered by the advertising partners listed below, which may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, where you have agreed, personalise them. Partners act under their own privacy policies.
The full list of companies authorised to sell our ad space is published in our ads.txt file.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info/ (US), youronlinechoices.eu/ (EU) and thenai.org/how-to-opt-out/ (NAI).
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message from a consent management platform registered with the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework, provided by Google or by our advertising partner. Visitors in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information through the same message.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage, session storage and IndexedDB are similar browser features that store data on your device. We call all of them “cookies” below.

Until then our analytics scripts, including Google Analytics, are not loaded. If you later withdraw your consent, we stop the analytics and delete its cookies. Outside these regions analytics cookies are set when you visit, and you can opt out at any time.

6. How We Share Information
- Our technology service provider — runs our first-party analytics and game services (player accounts, leaderboards and saves) on our behalf. It may not use the data for its own purposes.
- Service providers — hosting providers, Cloudflare (security and content delivery), who process data on our behalf.
- Google — Google Analytics.
- Advertising partners listed in Section 4.
- Sign-in providers (Google, Discord, Apple) — only if you choose to sign in with them. Leaderboards show your display name and score to other players.
- Game providers whose games are embedded on the site (Section 12).
- Authorities and others — when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A buyer or successor — if the site is transferred, under this policy.
We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising partners to use cookies on the site may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information under some US state laws — see Section 10 to opt out.
7. How Long We Keep Information

8. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic, limit access to personal data to people who need it, use random identifiers instead of names, do not store IP addresses in our analytics and delete data according to the periods above. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us.
9. International Transfers
We and our providers process data in countries other than the one you live in, including outside the EEA and the UK. Where data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified. Contact us for more information.
10. Your Rights
EEA, UK and Switzerland
- Access a copy of your personal data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; receive it in a portable format.
- Withdraw your consent: You can review or change your choices at any time through the “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page.
- Complain to your data protection authority (list for the EEA at edpb.europa.eu; UK: ico.org.uk).
United States (California and other states with privacy laws)

- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
- We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
- We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Global Privacy Control (GPC): we treat a GPC signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising (personalised ads are turned off for that browser). Do Not Track: there is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them; please use GPC instead.
How to make a request: email [email protected]. We reply within one month (EEA / UK) or 45 days (US states), and may extend this as the law allows. We may ask for information to verify your request. Our analytics only knows a random identifier for your browser or player account, not your name; to find your data please include that identifier (shown in the “Privacy choices” panel). If we cannot link a request to any identifier we may not be able to find your data, but it will still be deleted at the end of the retention period. If we decline your request you can appeal by replying to our answer with the word “Appeal”; we will respond within 60 days. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows.
